Requestors:

Bay Area Independent Interpreters (BAII) collects limited personal data from requestors. This information is used to alert interpreters to your request and provide information necessary for processing your request. BAII may retain some of this information, (i.e. company name, contact name, email address & phone number) in order to track numbers of requests or to follow up for feedback about your experience. This information will not be shared with or sold to any other entity. BAII does not solicit or request any financial information from requestors. In accordance with California law, you may request a copy of the information we retain at any time.

Interpreters:

Bay Area Independent Interpreters (BAII) collects and retains information about interpreters who sign up to join our network. This information is collected as part of your profile and is used to send you service requests, communicate with you about your profile, to update you on website updates and features, and to remind you about renewing your membership. BAII may store limited financial information regarding your membership fee. The information we collect will not be shared with any other entity, other than what is available in your public profile and used to send service requests. BAII will not sell any of your information to any third party.
